Steer your organisation's AI transformation, and keep it on course.

Your leadership drives AI adoption across the organisation; Quilane is its instrument. It shows where AI really works and where it stalls, across departments, sets spend against value, and supports a virtuous cycle for deciding what to build, scale, automate or stop.

  • Build

Choose where the organisation adopts AI next. Proposals are grouped by business purpose, and their usage waits until the council accepts them.

  • Scale

Drive what works across the organisation. Adoption shows how far a use case reaches the people or cases it should reach; capture, actual value against expected value.

  • Automate

Lead a frequent, proven, still manual use case towards autonomous work. It is flagged as an agent candidate, which your council confirms or rejects with a reason.

  • Stop

Redirect effort and budget from what stalls. Adoption and capture show where a use case falls short; net value and idle spend are reported over the last 12 months.

One picture instead of many slides

Each department reports its own successes, in its own format. Quilane keeps one shared view of every AI use case, measured the same way everywhere.

What leadership sees

  • One shared measure across departments

Every use case is measured on three separate questions: maturity, in four levels defined by the human's role, from manual assistance to autonomous work; adoption; and capture. Each department, and the organisation as a whole, then has two readings of maturity. Built is the capability you have put in place: the average level of the live, adopted use cases a department owns. Used is the level of the use cases a department's people use: the use cases its people used in the last 30 days, weighted by people. Both are shown for every department. Used appears only where at least 5 people are behind it. The gap between the two, in either direction, is a place to look first.

    Department maturity, two readings

    • Customer service

Customer service: Built 3.1, Used 2.4. Used sits below Built.

    • Finance

Finance: Built 2.6, Used 2.5. The two readings are close.

    • Legal

Legal: Built 1.8, Used 2.4. Used sits above Built.

    • Built: the capability in place
    • Used: the level people actually work at, last 30 days

  • Spend against value, idle spend included

See value captured, cost per tool, net value, return and idle spend over the last 12 months. You see return set against cost, and where spend sits idle.

    Last 12 months

    Value captured€384k
    Cost€254k

    Idle spend€47k

  • Usage insight without watching people

No conversation content is stored. Employees appear in usage only under pseudonymised identifiers, and people counts under a minimum group size are never shown to viewers.

The steering cycle: measure, review, decide

Leadership steers through its AI council. The council runs the cycle, meeting after meeting.

  1. Measure.

Usage, costs and new use case proposals come in through standardised files. Every use case is measured on maturity, adoption and capture.

  2. Review.

Each council starts from what moved since the last one, and what needs a decision.

  3. Decide.

Leadership, through its council, decides what to build, scale, automate or stop. Agent candidates are confirmed or rejected with a reason. Every change is recorded: who, what, when, from and to.

How it fits your organisation

The questions IT and your data protection officer will ask, answered for Quilane at launch.

  • Files, not a connector project

Usage, costs and new use case proposals are imported through standardised files. You prepare them with generated prompts from AI tool exports that list the user, the date and the activity. Results export to Excel and CSV, with spreadsheet formulas neutralised.

  • Sign-in through your own directory

At launch, people sign in with Microsoft, and access ends when your organisation disables the account. A Microsoft administrator registers the app in your own directory and creates your organisation's space. Google Workspace sign-in and directory are planned.

  • Your data, kept apart, in the European Union

Each client's data is isolated from every other client's. Quilane is hosted in the European Union.
